Va Residency Programs

Va Residency Program hosts national and international artists, critics, writers and thinkers to engage with the local community in a creative and artistic atmosphere. Each year, through Va Residency Programs, national and international artists, curators and researchers hold residencies in Isfahan. They are able to work in the studio spaces provided for visiting residents and are encouraged to pursue independent projects throughout the city. Va aims to bring artists and thinkers into a dynamic community of local and international artists through organizing open studios, talks, lectures, studio visits and exhibitions. Va encourages artists to explore the ideas and works within the context of the city of Isfahan. Aimed at creating a professional network, the program includes the following:

Va Artist/Curator/Writer-at-Home

One local artist will share their living and working space with an international artist via a selection process. Both artists that are part of the program have the opportunity to collaborate and exchange knowledge and culture.
